woohoo! i just got back and showered.. feel all fresh now (:

today (or yesterday) was fun fun fun. i woke up at about 2 in the afternoon because me and my bro ended up talking from like 2 to 5am even though my mum was nagging at us to go to bed. haha it was very very interestinggg.. and nice (: my bro was supposed to be studying for his exam but he said talking was more entertaining so he sidetracked just like that! lack of discipline i tell ya. now he's rushing like crazy.. i really hope he doesnt fail his exam hahah.

so anyways, my whole family went to queensway and then town to go winter wear shopping. i got me some boots! i was having fun walking around the shop with really high black winter socks and bulky snow boots with my spaghetti strap and shorts. i looked like a total idiot hahah. then my bro joined in and 2 girls walked past him and gave him this weird look hahah.

then we met suze and sean at paragon and my mum sent us home for our little steamboat party (: my mum said she got enough food to feed an army because harresh, nick, syl, sean, suze were all over! fats couldnt make it cos he had to leave for japan but we're gonna have another one when i come back from japan PLUS poker night (: dinner was yummy yummy.. then we continued our nonsensical games and TRIED watching pearl harbour but it failed terribly because no one shared the same enthusiam as suze, nat and me hahah. after almost breaking my bones a couple of times because of the dangerous nature of our games, we got tired and just talked. harresh had to go back early because he had exams like my bro..damn. then after sending sean off, we took a joyride to the airport in nick's car.. he was speeding and swerving all the way! hahah it was so fun. we were going at 140km/hr most of the way. we walked around randomly in the airport and hung out at burger king until we had to send syl home. i love the airport (: oh ya, and then we got lost on the way back for like over an hour because nick got lost everywhere! nat and suze dozed off in the car up and remained sleeping even though nick alrd parked the car so nick and i decided to hide behind a pillar and see how long it'll take for them to realise they were burning up in the car. but even after 15min, they were STILL sleeping gosh hahah. we had to wake them up in the end -.-

anyways, i've got braces appointment at 3 tmr and i cant afford to oversleep so i'm gonna get off now to grab some macs supper and then sleep by about 5 hopefully..

Morning!

it's 4.20 now and i still don't feel sleepy.. for the past few days since sats ended, i've been sleeping at 6 and waking up at 2+ in the afternoon. it's like i see sunlight for a couple of hours and then it's dark again! somehow, the day seems much muchh longer when i wake up early.

anyways, poker and all the other card games were really fun yesterday (: fats left at like 6am in the morning haha.. nat fell asleep so we were trying to draw on her face but everytime we lifted the blanket, she'd have like some vigorous reaction! and fats is officially the worst hider ever.. everytime nat moved, he'd just run and stand super straight and face the wall as if doing that would camouflage him into the white wall or smt hahaha. i couldnt stop laughing.. so in the end, we only managed to get her arm covered in permanent marker ink before she woke up ): we actually wanted to shave off one of nat's eyebrows! but then i figured that when nat woke up.. fats wouldnt be around and i'd have to be the one to face her wrath so i was like no no no.. change of plans..

today was quite relaxing..stayed home to watch movies with my family and tried doing some uni apps. until i figured i had enough of lazing about, we decided to meet des at coffeebean to chill out. then we bought tauhui to bring back to my place (: nat went to sleep quite early so i ended up talking to des until just awhile ago. i think i can really talk to friends for a really long time haha. des and i were talking from like 1 to 4? it feels so relaxing now that As and sats are over and the workload is getting smaller and smaller. i can meet up with friends everyday and just talk and have fun till i feel too sleepy..i can really get used to this (:

later on today, suze and fats will be comin over! yayy haha more company..i really hope it doesnt rain so i can go swim and get fit before i go to japan. really dont wanna be that fat kid on the slope who cant keep up and rolls down instead :/ ooh and i just found out celeste'll be on the very same flight as me to japan so that shd be fun! hopefully i can finish uni apps before japan but at the rate my progress is going.. i highly doubt so :/

anyways, i better go to bed now so i can wake up slightly earlier..

i shd've taken a photo of my hair when i took out all the pins and stuff.. it was literally AN EXPLOSION. but i was just laughing at myself in the toilet when i saw it like some crazy doofus.

i think i went to bed at 6+.. i actually wanted to stay up all night because i had this CAAS scholarship tea session thing to go for but i just dozed off and woke up at 3 in the afternooon so i guess it was a realllyyy failed plan haha.

ooh and SATS are over! so happy. syl came over after sats to play tennis with nat, nick and me. we played doubles..syl and me against nick and nat. losers treat dinner. so nick and nat's gotta treat us soon (: i double faulted my way to victory! hahah i think we would've won more easily if i stood at the side and let syl take the full court. then we went swimming where i discovered how unfit and stiff i was. i tried doing like a back flip off syl's shoulders but halfway in the air, i realised my back couldnt really arch much and WHAMMM i back-flopped (the opposite of belly flopped) into the pool and i was like OOOOOOOOOOOUCH! then we chilled out by the pool just talking till dinner time. ooh and then we watched armageddon (one of the best movies ever!) for like the 10th time or smt...and since nick had the car, we went to jalan kayu for supper and decided to explore seletar airbase which was quite failed because we drove everywhere and still couldnt find that jerry's place.. but it was fun (: next destination was mccafe to buy fries and corn where we chilled.. yet again. hahah. then we still didnt wanna go home and sleep so we decided to buy juice from a petrol kiosk and chill out by the poolside till we got sleepy.

i really wanted to go to church this morning! but as usual... overslept till 2+. ughh. anyways, later's POKER NIGHT (: i'm soo ready to win everyone's moooola muahaha. okie dokie.. update over. i'm off now!

ohh boy.. i feel rather screwed. i still havent got any prom stuff and prom's like in 2 days? 3 days? i always get too lazy to shop halfway and then i just end up walking around aimlessly in the shop. just came back from town with tiff, nat and harresh and as usual, we spent more time talking and eating..it was fun (: okok nvm, tomorrow my mum said she'll save me from my misery and help me look for something to wear haha. momma to the rescueeeeee

anyways, i'm just waiting for saturday to end.. SATS are sooo in the way. think my real holiday will start once uni apps are settled ugh. wonder why i applied overseas now.. it's so freakin troublesome and expensive. but i guess it'll pay off if i get in so i should just stop complaining heh. aight i better go shower now!

I'm back!

So i've been kinda been MIA for the past week or so because i decided to do smt productive with my life and intern at my uncle's law firm hoho. it was sucha last minute thing but i decided that i needed smt to beef up my portfolio and besides, working for my uncle wouldnt be sucha bad thing because i'd get a good testimonial even if i slacked off (which i kinda did every single day haha) and i can't actually get fired! So on tuesday, i began my adventure at Christopher Bridges Law Firm... (i was supposed to start on monday but as usual.. overslept hahah)

My mum was more excited than anyone else i tell ya. She made nat and me buy court shoes and made us dress up as lawyers and all. She was like in the office, you can't call uncle bridges "uncle bridges". You have to call him Mr. Bridges. i found it so weird and awkward so i didnt do that haha.

I have no interest in becoming a lawyer but i must say it was really cool following my uncle around. I got to visit all sorts of different places. I went into the sub courts, the high court the bar room etc etc. my favourite's the bar room which is like the place all the lawyers go to hang out, drink coffee, read the papers, chit chat etc etc. Basically like a coffee place just that everyone's in suits. And practically everyone there was asking us not to become lawyers haha, almost as if becoming a lawyer is signing your life away. My uncle was showing me all his different cases and he's currently defending this drug trafficker but he said there's an 80% chance he'll be sentenced to death :/ ooh and there's this really funny case which involved this bisexual cross-dresser who scared this prostitute till she fell off the 6th story and died so now the guy is being charged for murder but he's innocent :/  and my uncle let me read the whole affidavit and it was so explicit it was like some porno story man.. haha i get to see the cross dresser this monday. my uncle said he was trying so hard to keep a straight face when he had to listen to the guy and type out the whole report. oooh and i love lunch time! we go to different places for lunch everyday..i even got to go to the free mason's club. it's in sucha secretive location and all.

And after the 1st day, my feet officially DIED. i really dont get how people can walk around in court shoes. they're soooo painful. I could barely walk. had blisters everywhere.. kinda looked like someone abused me. halfway through the day i just took of my shoes and walked barefooted everywhere haha. And i kinda hated the office work.. the only thing good was that i gotta use the computer which meant msn, facebook, uni apps.. basically just slacking off haha.

And there's this girl from china who was interning with us. she's so funny.. her last day was on thursday so my uncle was trying to get her really drunk. he was telling us how the last time a german intern came, on her last day, he got her so durnk that she passed out in the toilet at 3 in the afternoon hahah. he had to call his female assistant to pull her out of the toilet..

anyways, i gotta go to town now. prom's in like a few days time i think.. and i havent got anything. i'll just go in my lawyer suit if i cant find anything.. ughh i wish i didnt pay for prom! now it seems like sucha chore and all. i just wanna watch 90210 and slack around. oh yeah and i have SATS on sat.. still gotta study for that.
